This cookbook can be made visually more attractive by putting in photos for each recipe. Cookbooks sell more by their visual appeal than anything. Let the reader almost taste the recipe by how well the photo is. I bought this book as a Christmas present and was disappointed over its boring look.
Not a good cook book
These little cookbooks put out by The Ultimate Guide are great! The fact that I have so many to refer to, or just get ideas for new favorites is awesome. I always look for them from Encore to get them free the first days they are released.
No pictures of finished recipes ... which is really important and it seems Encore Books (publisher) doesn't realize it. Most important for me, a picture tells me the recipe has been made and tested at least one time. It also lets the reader know what to expect in looks, if the recipe is not completely understood. Finally, it's a digital book, so pictures would only make it a larger file size, not a larger price for printing & distribution. I really hope to see upgrades to all my echo cook books, adding pictures of at least the finished product
As a huge cheese fan, I looking forward to trying many, if not most of these grilled cheese sandwiches. But, my favorite will probably always be Sharp Cheddar on Grilled Parmesean/Garlic Sourdough bread. YUM.
Grilled cheese sandwiches are some of the easiest meal that you can make it is the first thing a lot of us ever cook and this book teaches you some really different ways to cook them so heat up your griddle or frying pan and enjoy.
