This time travel was different than quite a few of the ones that I’ve read. This takes modern men and women back to the Clovis period in North America around 10,000 years ago or so. It’s a freak airplane accident that after being caught up in an electrical storm, crash lands in the past.

Not knowing if there is any possible way to be saved, the modern people begin to assimilate to the time period, everyday life, culture and the language. They know that it is either adapt and survive or die. So they all do their part, including taking a mate.

But just because they left their lives behind in the future, doesn’t mean that they can’t leave clues about their fate since cave paintings were popular. We also do get to follow along with some of the people in the future and their archaeological discoveries and their lives.

I really did enjoy this book and wasn’t quite ready for it to end!

I'm so happy this is one book. I happily read this series once and glad I did it again. Janet gets stuck in the past while Brian deals with a surprisingly interesting future without her. This is their story and it's filled with intrigue. Just as a FYI this story has violence and sex but it's really good.
I am highly impressed with this book. I love the way the author takes you on a journey a realistic adventure in love and loss. I also love how different this book is and how the author chose not to turn the spoiled brat Claire into an enemy but rather had her grow up. I can say I didn't really care for the flashes to the future because I was more interested in what happening with Janet. I loved how they had to adjust to life there. I did however wonder why Gerard and Larissa didn’t come packing more heat than just that one gun and knife of Gerard’s. Anyways GREAT BOOK. Different for sure and I loved it.
So well written and original I could hardly put it down. It was such an unusual story of survival, love, devotion, raw humanity and emotion. Tragedy turned into happiness. Loved it!
Long (3 books in One Worth the Read
it was worth reading a different look at time travel
A good mixture of life and it's dangers. A believable fiction given current knowledge. Suffers a little in sexuality but ok.
The old saying "Don't judge a book by the cover" applies here. I almost didn't buy it because the cover didn't look that good. But I enjoyed all three books. A private jet flying into a thunder storm goes back in time to the Clovis era. Four people survive the crash and meet up with a Clovis tribe who take them into their tribe. They have encounters with pre-historic animals and other tribes some good some bad. This is definitely for Adults book three almost crosses the line to porn. I give them four stars.
