Lindsey has a huge, life altering decision to make. What's more important to her... her own happiness or not hurting someone she's always been close to. Unfortunately her decision isn't coming too easily and she might be hurting someone no matter what she chooses. I personally found it hard to like Lindsey from time to time. However she is a good character and I was probably just being judgmental. I also think she could have handled her situation in a much better way. But the again... no one asked me lol. I did like how Full Moon was written appropriately for the age of the characters in the book and how the love triangle is seen from everyone's perspective at different times throughout the story. The drama starts pretty early in Full Moon and definitely keeps building. Most people would be happy about this, but it quickly ruins some things that could have been dragged out a bit longer to make the story somewhat more surprising. I liked how you also get some background information about Brittany before the next book. I was a little irritated that Lindsey kept trying to put her situation in the same category as Brittany's, but teen drama is exactly like that. I was surprised by the way Bio-Chrome's sinister shenanigans were a bit worse in Full Moon than Moonlight. They definitely take their bad guy statis to a whole new level! I recommend Full Moon for anyone who loves a quick, fun YA book with paranormal romance and adventure as the main themes.Tags : Amazon.com: Full Moon (Dark Guardian, Book 2) (9780061709562): Rachel Hawthorne: Books,Rachel Hawthorne,Full Moon (Dark Guardian, Book 2),HarperTeen,0061709565,Family - General,Fantasy - General,Social Themes - Dating & Sex,Forests and forestry,Forests and forestry;Fiction.,Supernatural,Supernatural;Fiction.,Werewolves,Werewolves;Fiction.,Children: Young Adult (Gr. 10-12),Fantasy & magical realism (Children's Teenage),Fiction,Legends, Myths, & Fables - General,Love & Romance,Social Themes - Dating & Relationships,YOUNG ADULT FICTION,YOUNG ADULT FICTION Legends, Myths, Fables General,YOUNG ADULT FICTION Romance Paranormal,YOUNG ADULT FICTION Social Themes Dating & Sex,Young Adult Fiction Family General (see also headings under Social Themes),Young Adult Fiction Fantasy General,Young Adult FictionRomance - General,Young Adult FictionSocial Themes - Dating & Sex
Full Moon Dark Guardian Book 2 Rachel Hawthorne Books Reviews
A great story. It is appropriate reading for younger teens. The story is not your typical werewolf/shifting storyline. As an avid reader and teacher, I would recommend!
I bought the first book as whim but was hooked by the first chapter couldn't wait to get to the 2nd, I found it a great read it brought me into the story wanting to know more about the shifters. I would suggest this to anyone who loved the twilight saga, also any one who likes animals. A very good book for young teens
Great book!
This book was very good! The Romance was great! I loved every moment of this book. I read this book in one day.
FULL MOON was just as good at the first book - Moonlight. I could not put this book down and read it in one day as well. Loved the characters - Lindsey, Connor and Rafe. The completely sucked me into Lindsey's world of love and confusion. Another great read for TEENS!!!
I love all of the dark guardian books. They are sweet and entertaining. I first read them a few years ago and came across the first one again not long ago. Loved it. So I definitely recommend these books.
So, book 2. This time around we focus on Lindsey as she prepares for her first change with pre-destined mate Connor. But oh, snap, Rafe's lookin pretty good too! What's an almost werewolf to do?
Apparently whine about it for 200 pages and be high and mighty for the rest of them. Ok, I did actually like this book. Don't get me wrong, I still liked Kayla's story better, but aside from Lindsey's silly insepid need to MAKE Connor be her mate when clearly it was Rafe, I'm a fan. Her whinning got old, and I did on more than one occasion want to slap her (really Rafe? you sure here?). But Britiney's hiliarious and all in all, this was a fine follow up to a nice new series.
